Guns Come Out- Ice Killa

This is the 2nd single to my Ice Killa LP. i'm feeling good today, so i thought, might as well release a track. also, i saw big ax posted up a single, so i thought i'd continue the trend.

i did beat, mixed, everything with this one. please comment/criticize, whatever it is u want to do. just no 3 word responses like "i liked it," or "i hated it" cuz that's just spam... :8)

It was okay. Definately better than Lime Light. The beat was better definately too. Your improving in those i can see. Flow was good, didnt see many obvious flow fall-offs. I loved the pistol cock before the chorus. The chorus was alright too. You kinda sounded bored, but yeah i have that problem too (as many know

) And i liked how it ended with the pistol cocking and then shooting. Overall 7.5/10, for a TRshady artist.

(I dont care about quality cause i know thats what you have to work with, so even with studio quality this would be 7.5)

Ok i think the beat was decent not great, but fit the tone of the song. Your flow was not bad but def needs improvement. I had this problem in the past and it took time for me, i remember sounding monotoned like this before, so it's something you can def work on. The hook was pretty good, like shady said you sounded bored, but i liked the hook, the way it played off the beat was nice. The rhymes and content were pretty good, just need to improve your emotion and work on the flow. Keep it up though :y:

i'm definitely going to be working on emotion and delivery for future tracks, cuz i'm still just starting out. but i'm glad this is an improvement over my last few tracks.

well it's an improvement

you don't sound confident at all... flow was decent

beat was pretty awful, drum pattern was GREAT but the sounds u used seemed to fake or osmething... and the melodies were awful, pattern was fine, but everything else was bad, from the quality sounds to the mixing, i mean there's so much inference, especially in the hook... plus i don't hear a bass... also it seemed with ur change up, u started to use like a different key, which made it sound inconsistent. I also felt the high hat was too loud... i think the way you took out the focus of the snare and made it kick and high hats were unique and when the clap/snare drops it's not too forced whcih is something i haven't much of..

i know i focused more on the beat than everything, and its cuz i can't feed the rapping 2 much since i dont rap.

an improvement, i'm glad i was able to up the ante a little bit with my tracks right now. cuz i'm still working to reach my peak, it might take a while, but i'm getting there. slowly but surely, every track is practice, right?
glad u commented the beat tho, since ur a beat guru urself. also glad u liked the drums, and the how i did the high hat, kick thing in the hook.
yea, i'm not best with melodies, mainly cuz i don't have a piano to hook up, and i don't have much to work with on my program. i need more instruments and sounds to work with, perhaps u could help me with that.

k, ama be hard on this one

beat is really bad, way too fruity loopish, needs more harmonies n stuff, also the drum loops is weird, not bad, the drums are ok, but I dunno

about the lyrics, those were great, worked perfectly with your flow, so thats a good thing :y:

quality is still need to be fixed, but I can't judge that since I'm not a good mixer myself

delivery can be better, you need to feel it more

overall, good song, defo makes me look forward to your album :y:
