Proof did hip-hop for purely the love of it, using it as his source of expressing his feelings, that's why the tracks feel genuine. He's a Detroit legend (im guessing) because without him, I don't think D12 would've materialised or Eminem wouldn't be as good

Good question, because I really like Proof cause he's different from other rappers.

His flow is unique and his delivery is on point and that is a perfect combination.

His flow sounds genuine unlike some other rappers with artificial flows. Proof doesn't try to sound like anyone, he just talks in his normal voice and is keeping it true while he's spitting his material.

Just listening to Kurt Kobain, he manages to make you feel the music through that song and honestly that song gave me a chill, it's all in his flow & delivery.

His lyrics are also solid but i mostly appreciate his flow & delivery.

If Proof hadn't died, he might've gotten a chance to finally make it big because he only released oen solo album and he was just beginning his solo career so it's sad that he had to go out the way he did. Anyhow, his short career was a solid one and I'm sure he's proud.

^ Yeah, agreed. I often download albums, but if they're great, I buy them too. They're simply worth the 'huge effort' that takes you to go to the nearest CD shop and buy them.
