Saw him in Manchester on Friday and words cannot describe how good he is live! His set list had a good blend of Trunk Muzik and Radioactive (did his BET Shady 2.0 cypher acapella and Let's Go as well). I managed to get front row which was definitely worth the queuing up time and the plane journey!
He payed tribute to Adam Yauch by getting the whole crowd to have a moment of silence (thought he was gunna break down at one point, he got pretty choked up) which was a nice touch.
His stories were funny as hell as well! He did a few songs that I didn't expect to hear like Throw It Up and Hardest Love Song In The World (which wasn't even on the set list! He just told his DJ to put it on as a tribute to his girlfriend, Fefe) and his tributes to other artists like his 'partner in crime' Eminem, Johnny Cash etc were also really good.
I highly recommend seeing him live if you get the chance. I saw Em last year at V fest and he was awesome but Yela's live stuff really does run him close. He was intense. So yeh, go watch Yela! You really won't regret it.
