Admit it, the state in which D12 are today, few years later, SH will be standing in the same place. Hell, that could very soon. I'll confess, I don't like D12 anymore, but that doesn't mean that I don't want them do a joint with Eminem or SH. Sure I do. But, facts are facts, D12 hasn't been the same since Proof died. Things seemed to get better with Fuzz, but nothing was capitalized, even though when it mattered the most.

No doubt, they have grown lyrically. That's individually, they haven't operated as a whole group(that is along with Eminem) since....Agreed, that they did a couple of joints together. That's nothing, when they're D12, they are not individuals, they are a group. Things change. They need to get that spark back to get things back in order.

They seemed to lack that patience, no wonder some members left. Where would they manage to get that chemistry, when most of them have parted ways as if they were not interested. Things got messed up with SH & Yela being signed to Shady. Yes, 2011 was a reserved spot for a D12 Album. And, what does Eminem do? Release an EP with Royce, adding fuel to the fire.

D12 is over for me, unless...

I just have two things to say:

Shady 1.0 (with 50,Obie and D-twizzy) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Shady 2.0

oh and id take D12 over slaughterhouse ANY DAY OF THE WEEK,Anything D12 make(made) sounded natural, whatever subject/concept they went for,Slaughterhouse right now sound like some fucking numb nuts who have to adjust and they are rapping for people, not for themselves like D12 always do(did)

yeah and this sentence from Mike "Considering how shit the world is in general, the chances are I'm going to be negative about things most of the time. As most things are shit, to me."

Hilarious.

just noticed i said three things, fuck it!
The devil ain't on a level same as him!

My ass? Shit son. Things could have been different with Eminem being actually with them, there's various dynamics attached that we aren't seeing. :-k

In one way or another I agree with this. Shady 1.0 felt like a family, Shady 2.0 feels like random artists put together on the same label with little to no interaction with one another (Well Slaughterhouse has to since it's a group lol, but I really hope some people get where I'm coming from).

Saying Slaughterhouse will end up "like D12" is idiotic.

Because Slaughterhouse is a group comprised of four established solo artists. They had solo fanbases for a decade before Slaughterhouse, and they will have fanbases for decades after Slaughterhouse.

Meanwhile, D12 is a group comprised of Eminem and his friends. Nobody cared about them before Eminem put them on. And even when Eminem did put them on, it was just Stans that cared. Nobody's ever made a list of their favorite rap groups, and put D12, unless it was on an Eminem message board. And now that Eminem isn't putting them on, nobody cares again.

I'm not saying D12 doesn't have any talent; they do. But they are not a rap group like Slaughterhouse. Slaughterhouse isn't one big solo artist and his completely unknown friends.

And let's be honest; D12 is lot better off individually. Mr. Porter can shine as a dope producer. Bizarre can make the weirdo ICP music he wants to make. And the other guys can carve out an identity besides being "Eminem's friends." And they have the royalties / fame from the D12 albums to live on, forever.

And yeah....Devil's Night only has a handful of good songs to me. Purple Pills, American Psycho, Fight Music and maybe Devil's Night & Pistol Pistol. The rest of the songs haven't aged well. And even the songs that are "good," I don't think are that great.

Just an assumption, nothing wrong with that.
