Listening to the first song; already better.

This is why I always dispute people calling SH the only 'real lyricists' left and bullshit like that lmao; there's fucking loads of amazing rappers out, just gotta look for 'em.

Their subject-matter seems to be similarly limited though.

Defnitely not better than Slaughterhouse but dope indeed. As a matter a fact they are Crooked I music act as they are signed to C.O.B. but honestly lyric by lyric none of them can touch Crooked, honestly noone from the West Coast can actyally.
There's always some transition of music acts when they decide to go for digits, for instance some of the songs on SH's first album can't be touched lyrically but to go out & sell records you gotta do way more than just go crazy lyrically. I'm not saying SH did the best transition, but they had to do something anyway or else they shouldn't be on Shady because Interscope is build for commercial crossover first & then artistic vallue & all the rest.
Overall in my opinion both cliques are crazy but Horseshoe G.A.N.G. is yet to prove how good those dudes are.

There are a lot of rappers and groups that can match Slaughterhouse's best lyrical foot or even best it. This forum needs to stop acting like they are untouchable lyrically, they're not. You are all buying into their marketing, are they lyrical, yes. Are there solo and group acts alike that are better, yes....some are extremely more advanced and better in nearly every aspect. This is ESP. the case on the West Coast. This group is better in terms of chemistry and some of their lyrics are pretty good, but they suffer from the same defaults that Slaughterhouse had until they went mainstream, they are a rappity-rap-rap group. Slaughterhouse's first album shits on this, no offense to them, but they could probably make a better album than SH if they put their mind to it and expanded their creativitity. Still, Slaughterhouse's new album is easy to shit on... That's sad.

Of course there are a lot rappers and groups that can match Slaughterhouse or even do better than them at times, as a matter a fact noone is untouchable lyrically but this is not the point of who's better.
The point is, you gotta get recognized by your peers first & then the public, plus you gotta have a crossover if you're up to match whoever that's up there with the best overall. Just like when Wu Tang was the bar for a decade, of course there were plenty of sicker groups but when you're not able to create your own fan base & to be interesting for the general public, then you're not able to match groups that can do that even if you're technically more advanced at whatsoever.
I'm originally a West Coast hip hop fan, so honestly & unfortunately the only group that could go up against SH out from the West Coast right now is Black Hippy. I mean if it's about to go out there & say you're better without been ridiculous.
Technically there are probably thousands of way better rappers than LL lyric for lyric but that doesn't mean he's not one of the greatest of all time, while most of those aren't nowhere near that.
SH is technically a super group as all 4 MC's are recognized as a solo acts as well so don't try to talk about things you don't have idea about, esp. about the West Coast.

What? I couldn't understand some of that. Anyway, if you're trying to say Slaughterhouse is the only super group you're wrong. And I'm not talking out of my ass, I'm talking about what I know. So, when I mentioned the West Coast I didn't mention a group, but Black Hippy was the main one on my mind. And if you want to talk about solo acts be prepared for a huge list. I'm not talking out of my ass when I say the West Coast has tons of acts better than Slaughterhouse currently. Dom Kennedy and Cassie Veggies (other West Coast rappers) have made better albums than Slaugterhouse has. So, what are you trying to say?

You funk volume list is short and they aren't even a group, just a label. If we compare a groups best songs to another (assuming these are Horseshoe Gangs's best) they are out. Slaughterhouse put out and shit debut and Blak Hippy hasn't dropped an album yet, just songs here there (about 15+). So, no point.

No point in this argument since everyone has their own personal preference.

Slaughterhouse might win the battle just because this is TR but that doesn't mean they're the better group.

All four Horseshoe G.A.N.G. members are Crooked I's brothers, which explains there technical ability as well as sounding similar, although they all are very distincitive to me.

Slaughterhouse did not put out a shit debut! U should say "in my opinion Slaughterhouses put out a shit debut" they are several people outside of this forum that are enjoying the new album .

I thought by this point I wouldn't have to write "IMO" since I'm speaking for myself. I'm not speaking for the Queen, lmao. Of course it's my opinion.
