I think someone said it already, I don't want a 30 year old rapper, I want a new rapper to start his career on Shady. Other than that, maybe Redman if he's a free agent. I can't say though, I don't know too many new rappers trying to get their names out right now.

A rock group would be a VERY interesting choice. Rock is in a big slump right now and we all know how big of a rock fan Eminem is. Plus, there probably wont be "Eminem ruined them" complaints.

I have this feeling Hopsin would fit in perfectly. He could be like Obie was back in the days, would've been amazing.

Yeah but Hopsin won't accept a deal anywhere. He could already be on Strange Music. He's pretty stupid imo not to take that offer.

Working under Tech would be great for him.

Strange Music is honestly a career trap my friend, it's a haven for artists who cannot garner mainstream success and they acknowledge it, so they contain themselves to a career under the shadow of Tech N9ne. I don't blame him for not taking that label offer to be perfectly honest. But Strange Music, despite being a trap, will at least allow you to provide for yourself by leaching off of Tech N9ne's cult following while still being able to do what you want artistically, lyrically, and sonically.

Depends on the artist, yes. Krizz will never break out of Tech N9ne's shadow though as that's were nearly all of his sales derive. He isn't good at self promotion like Hopsin, and if you have that ability you should have a need for a record label. Hopsin made the right move in the long run when it comes to his likelihood of success. Besides, he still has Tech on the phone whenever he wants him, so there is no point.

Hmm I havent heard much Krizz Kaliko except for his tech features Ill have to check him out I never thought he was that good.

Who I would like to see Em sign is either Rhyme Asylum or Diabolic however I think the chances of that happening are about .25% lol I do think Hopsin would be a perfect fit with the shady crew but oh well.

First time posting on a non Em thread on TR.

I think Hopsin in theory would make a great fit to shady records but maybe not so much in practice. Ruthless has put him off labels forever I think haha amd especially because he has his own Funk Volume family happening.

Also am I the only one noticing how judgmental/preacher Hopsin is starting to become. Never realised he was so religious until 'Ill mind of hopsin 5' (though its dope) and some facebook posts he's made.

I would like Skyler signed (not sure she'd go for it but) and xzibit (as someone else mentioned), can't think of many more.
