Yelawolf is really my new favorite artist. I was waiting for this album, for the "confirmation" because I wasn't totally a YelaWolf stan. But now that I am, I can say that this guy has so many faces, so many styles and he bends them together really like a bawse.
Drake can sing and Rap! Wow. So what? Write Your Name displays him rapping/singing his verses and it's one of the catchiest song he ever made.
He is a fucking white trash and he's proud of it! He yells Alabama in every song he can, he got love for his roots and won't forget them. Growing up in the gutter is a really dope track and Rittz is one of the only features that makes the track even good-er on the album.
"Above her head is a crucifix
But Lucifer loosens up his wrist" I love this part.
And Yela can make fucking great bangers. ANIMAL! Damn, the mix between dubstep techno or whatever it is with Hip Hop is awesome in this, although I don't like when they mix it with Hip Hop this song has an awesome instrumental and a great hook, but his flow and delivery throughout the song are just remarkable.
One part makes me go like woww everytime. His flow during these lines and the "oon" rhyme scheme are just so damn KEWL.
Rack it in, pack em in, to the back again, rap it up
Rap it in, sicker than a pack of 10 minivans?
You’ll get when I win but I won’t lose
In fact I’m gonna win, win again with another handNow there's an absolute classic in this album, a song that catches you by your throat and choke you up when you hear it for the first time.
The Last Song is the best track on this, it's like his "Sing For The Moment" (not content wise), it's his personal classic. I wouldn't thought the beatboxing beat would be so dope, and he delivers his verses with emotions, real emotions. What about that fucking hook? It's just one of the dopest choruses I ever heard in my whole life.
Made In The Usa is a great track that made me want to live in the USA so I could relate, even though all the things he says on that song are generally worldwide. This song is really an anthem and if it's not number one everywhere then I can't understand shit about music. He doesn't have a big bothering accent (some hate it) and his lines are really understable.
The Radioactive introduction is really a worship worthy intro, the beggining gives you a feel of "end of the world" and the way he switches his flow on this is awesome. I love it.
I love the "Young Buck" hommage in Everything I love The Most.
"Smoking hot, throw it up, keep a fifth up in my cup" haha.
I feel like Get Away could've been a great song, one of my favorite if it wasn't for these retards in the features.. I mean no offense, but they both are horrible and I have to skip the song right after the chorus. They're like Shyne but less retarded though.
Radio is one of the chill-est song on the album and the concept is great man, I feel like the hook is made to get stuck in your head once you hear the song. Because I hear it everyday, everytime I see a radio or something I can hear "hit the radiooo.. yeah yeah" haha.
This album has such potential, and it's only 9th in ITUNES.
Thanks Yelawolf for this album, a quarter for your thoughts. You really have a new YelaStan.
