Shady Records: Where potential goes to die

50 Cent? He's basically off the label. He get's absolutely no support (minus that GRODT concert), no promotion, shit Em doesn't even tweet about his new album. He isn't around them, on the magazine covers, he's just doing his own thing (and making the best music out of any of them). I hope he leaves Shady/Interscope and starts his own thang. He is better at business than all them.

Yelawolf? Had a crazy good, gritty, grimy, trunk banging mixtape with TM 0-60 then went to Shady and dropped the watered down snooze fest of an album that is his debut.

D12? LOL non existent, IDK why they are still on the website. Even when they dropped their mediocre mixtape, Em couldn't be bothered to contribute a verse.

SlaughterHouse? Had a great debut album they recorded in like a week. Insane beats, sick lyrics, it was perfect for what it was. Come to Shady and start using a bunch of shitty generic radio beats trying to be mainstream. The new song is hot TRASH. They continuously push their album back because they can't drop anything hot.

Eminem? I honestly feel like one of the main reasons Recovery had the real pop-sounding records was Shady Records influence (Paul) trying to get his career back on top. I really doubt Em went out of his way to link up with Alex Da Kid or heard the LTWYL beat and said "yo this is sick". I think they convinced him he sounded great on those beats.

And I assume Stat Quo, Cahsis, and Bobby Creekwater are all standing in line for some soup and a blanket somewhere.

I totally agree. Shardy Records/Interscope lost the meaning how producing good artists and helping them get off their feet. I mean thats why Busta left and Obie Left as well because they were being held back. Hell fifty is dropping his last album and then he is set free. Eminem does need to leave as well. The label record sucks dick.

Em will never leave, plus he needs the national distribution.

I think a big problem is they have no in-house producers really, minus Dre who doesn't do shit no more.

GOOD Music is perfect for that, they have the best producers at their disposal. No ID, Kanye, Jeff Bhasker, Hit Boy, Q-Tip, etc. They have a coherent sound. Shady seems to just buy random beats and slap together projects now.

Excellent exercise of your FreedomOfSpeech.

He should fire every person who heard Relapse and Recovery before they came out and told him that these albums are great and that he should release them under his name instead of throwing them in the garbage. All the enablers of this atrocity should be fired. Eminem’s situation is similar to Kanye’s. Kanye West made 3 good albums and gained everyone’s respect. He then went on to make some pretty bad music. Unfortunately, kids that weren’t around for the first 3 albums started to follow Kanye because of the reputation he built from his first 3 albums. So they hear his new crap and think that this is what good music should sound like. The kids buy these bad albums without knowing that music can be so much better than this. All this feeds Kanye’s ego and makes him think we all want more abhorrent songs like Mercy. May God have mercy on us all and save us from this shit.

not all slaughterhouse song from shady label are trash, what about monsters in my head? insane crooked verse...hammer dance is a dope ass street single, loud noises beat sucks, but the verse from this 4 are great, the cypher? dope.My Life and the one with swizz are just single for chart, all artist make song like that, but the thing that piss me off is if rick ross or drake or kanye make a song like "throw it away" the song is dope and perfect, not slaughter make a song like this and everyone shitting on them.Come on,have you heard the new solo single form kanye west? "Cold"? its embarrassing, but nobody talks about it.

ps: sorry for my english.
