Firestarter- It’s a great way to start the mixtape. Yelawolf’s voice on this song is so great. The bridge is awesomely intense and so are his verses. As soon as I heard this I thought “Trunk Muzik is a piece of gold”. 9.5/10
Way Out- Everyone knows this song fairly well by now since it was the first single. The spacey vibe to it is amazing along with his flow (as usual). The music video for this song really enhances listening to it. Every time I listen to it, I just imagine a bunch of aliens and shit in the woods (or space) and it’s pretty badass. 9/10
F.A.S.T. Ride- Okay, I admit, I hated this song at first listen. But since the music video came out for it, I have been enjoying it a lot more. This is definitely not the best song on this tape but it’s still pretty good. The heavy hitting bass is pretty awesome and the beat is good but I kind of expected to go ape shit on it with a faster flow. 8.5/10
Box Chevy Pt. 4- There has been a lot of different opinions about this song but I REALLY enjoy it. The long pauses between the eerie verses are awesome just to vibe to. Sure, Yela may not be absolutely destroying the beat, but the song completely encompasses the feel of a “Box Chevy” song. I personally love this song. 8.8/10
Huslte Feat. Paul Wall- Hmm, the first feature on the album and its Paul Wall. Actually, Paul Wall doesn’t destroy the song and his verse is very listenable. Pretty good! Yelawolf’s flow in the beginning of his verse is fuuuucckkiiing amazing. Also, even though I can’t understand the outro, it sounds spacey and cool as shit…so yeah, that’s cool. Great song with really no complaints. 9/10
Catfish Billy- OH SHIT. This song is great. All of it. Like someone on the forum mentioned, Catfish Billy is basically Yelawolf’s version of Slim Shady and its fucking awesome. Yelawolf kills this song in every way possible. The beat is great and the intro is really cool. 9.8/10
Gangster Feat. ASAP Rocky & Big Henry- I really love the beat on this song. Yelawolf’s verse awesome and shows that he can really tell a great story within just one verse. His hooks on this mixtape are blowing me away. His flow and voice on this one is probably my favorite. ASAP’s verse is also great. He certainly wasn’t going to go in with a crazy flow like Yela or Big Henry but what he’s saying is awesome. Big Henry killed this shit! I’ve never even heard of him and this was just great. 9.2/10
Rhyme Room Feat. Raekwon & Killer Mike- What happens when you get three great lyricists on one song? Greatness. Raekwon’s verse is pretty good although I think it’s a little too slow. Killer Mike kills his verse as expected. But Yelawolf spits his best verse on this whole mixtape and oh god it’s awesome. It feels like they raised the intensity of the song to lead to the grand finale, Yelawolf’s amazing verse. He mentions Radioactive and how it was pretty shitty in his opinion. Ohh god his verse is great

9.5/10
Fame- Beat is awesome and sounds really spacey. Yelawolf talks about his career leading up to his fame. Just goes to show again how good of a story teller Yela is. Not really much to say about the song but its great. 9/10
Tennessee Love- Oh Lawwwd this song is fucking great. It reminds me of Love is Not Enough’s older, better brother. The beat and hook on this are extremely on point and Yela’s verses are heartfelt and simply great. I literally wouldn’t change one thing about this song. Every verse progresses the story in a perfect way. His voice on the hook is great and the outro of this song (and album) is outstanding. 10/10
Overall: 93/100 Plus, props to WillPower for the production. Every song kept that ‘Trunk Muzik’ feel to it plus some extra outer space shit that was awesome.
