I probably shouldn't, but I feel his album will be really good.

Just felt like sharing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FhVdohucJ4 . That song is heavenly good.

EDIT: Oh, and please let the single be produced by S1. That guy is one of the best producers out there at the moment. He deserves to have one of his tracks made a single.

I'm feelin it too.

The fact that he said 'heat' gives the impression it's going to be a street oriented track. Which would be great.

Chris Lighty tweeted last night something like "I run New York...I-i-i-i-I do it", and then for some reason deleted it instantly. Thats either him doing a bit of a rendition of 'I get money" or I dunno, maybe something else? If his single is anything like "I get money", then it would be unbelievable.

Hype is building. Fif has to deliver, this soft rap era has had too long in the sun.

I have been trying to get why people like him and I hear the same thing every time

Voice
Beats
Delivery

He is the only rapper considered good (I guess) that has neither good content nor lyrics.
Lol u need at least one.

It's sad to think people like him more then artists who have good content and lyrics

And don't pull the whole his songs don't have to be good because they are fun to listen to because that is the same excuse souks boy fans use.

Why do we like 50! Have you heard Power Of The Dollar (the album), it shits on every Game, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck and lots of other rappers' albums.
Also The charisma he has is by far the best in the game, Luda comes in second.
I am not gonna tell you listen to him because of the beat choices, or his delivery or even his voice, that'd be like saying go listen to Britney!
But listen to Power Of The Dollar, it really is an amazing album, if not a classic.
P.S. You have to understand one thing, if people didn't have different tastes in music, the music industry would have died long time ago....

I have listened to it and it suffered from the same problem all his other albums do. Innconsistent lyrically and repetitive content

Because he draws people to imagine what he's talking about in his music, and his charismatic style is endearing and makes you want more. He simply makes good music, and he's easily one of (if not the most) genuine artist in hip hop, and probably music today. He does what he wants, always has and has lived a life where even for a comic book you'd think it's unrealistic, but he's managed to do it in real life. Coming from being pretty much a Robin Hood figure in Southside Jamaica to going up against The Supreme Team where not one person has come out alive to surviving and being worth 450 million, all before our eyes.

And his content is perfectly fine. He talks what he sees, what he's been through. There's no fiction involved, there's no acting. He is gangsta rap personified, more so than any artist to ever grace hip hop.

I think 50 Cent's problem is that people are used to hearing about 'gangsters' in hip hop and aren't critical enough to understand that it's not necessarily a gimmick. So when 50 Cent raps about such stuff, they don't understand the pain and passion in what he says.

I gave Get rich or die tryin' a few spins the other day, and it's simply just a great album. What it sometimes lacked in lyrical quality, it had in impact.

Some info.

The single is called "I'm on it".

It's produced by Chad Beatz. He's a young producer who was signed by Sha Money XL. I'm loving that the single choice isn't about producer reputation here, it's the first time he's done this for a while.

Here's some other other beats that Chad Beatz has made. It's definitely that NY sound. Hype getting bigger for me.
