Well, it is sadly not going to be featured on the album now. I don't think I'll ever understand such decisions. I mean, the whole album is going to leak onto the Internet eventually. It is not like people won't buy the album nor the particular song because they have heard a half-finished version of the track.

I actually only realized that it wasn't a finished version until I was half way through it. I'm feeling like an asshole now...

A shame cus the track really sounds like it has some serious potential.

Didn't know this leaked as took my eye off Yela for a bit, just waiting for the album...



It's not bad. Certainly a lot better than I thought from the title, giving what I assumed it might be with that name. And glad that he's on all verses too.

What's exciting about Yela is I think he's one of the first mainstream rappers since Em himself maybe that has a great combination of attitude and skill. There have been plenty with attitude but lacking in skill or interesting artistry.

Then there have been people like Kanye with PLENTY of artistic vision and strokes, and plenty of attitude but just not quite enough mic perfection or tightness to be a serious MC, outside of his 'whole package' status. As, let's face it, it's as much his imagery and production that make it work.

So, given Yela's tricky writing style and flows, and his potential versatility, and the fact he's bringing in influence from a lot of genres other than hip-hop... yeah I think it's exciting. Have said it before but, can't wait for the album.
