Em should have made a better choice in releasing singles as well. Write Your Name, Made In the USA, Everything I Love The Most, The Hardest Love Song... they're all good singles. Hard White's a good one too, but that should have been played everywhere.

For all we know yelawolf chose them. I can see why he did hard white he wanted something his old fans would like.

Well for what it's worth, I like Hard White... The remix version is way better though.

Obie Trice sounds kinda monotonous to me, while Yela clearly doesn't..

I do prefer Obie, but it's like they're saying Obie was like the Godchild of Rap and Yela's that old blind guy at a bench...

Good point. I wouldn't mind if they weren't all elitists about it, but those guys are like "If your favorite rapper is Eminem, or your favorite rap album is Eminem's, you're a butt-ugly Stan who needs to get laid." Smfh. Only people who hate THAT intensely are secretly guilty of what they're hating on.

What's the basis of their hate? Only that Eminem's Music has changed as an Artist like all others. Why don't they see this? Every Artist evolve. :coffee:

Menzo wrote:I never thought about this but perhaps his other single-worthy tracks weren't finished at the time they released Hard White. Granted, Yela's promotion was pathetic, but wouldn't you think that the artist has a say on how he wants his shit promoted? I don't think he'd be too scared to sit with Em and be like, "Yo, I wanna do this" or whatever.

Who knows. Really though, the fuck does first week sales even mean? It may sell more the second week because people are starting to hear about him and whatnot.

Exactly, seeing as how Em gave him his space while writing, and the jokes they have back and forth. It's possible, and if that's true, he NEEDS to release a good single soon.

@Sam: Because simply that's all they do. Like they were comparing Take Care to MMLP. :facepalm

Has anyone heard Yela on the radio at all?? I haven't...

Promotion for him has been a joke, I don't really understand it. He obviously is talented... why would you sign someone and not help promote it??

Yelawolf should have joined Young Money because Baby would have bought 500.000 copies of Radioactive.
