All Yelowolf need now is: Twitter addresses of Bobby Creekwater, Obie, Stat Quo and Ca$his.
[Rollefsen] - SajN retired, bitch got old, unlike Sams "ladies".

Actually im gonna have to put blame on eminem for this one...

Executive producer of album is him all these things fall under him.

executive producer of an album is often in control of the business side of production, distribution, and promotion, but more often than not, is in charge of the entire project as is a director.

Do you seriously think Em is going to do all that shit? If it doesn't involve making music, he's not interested.

So sad. However, the fact that Yela's going back to his Trunk Muzik stuff is the best news from all of this.

Which is what a lot of fans are happy about, since hell, Trunk Muzik is what got him here. Radioactive's got a lot of great tracks, but look what happened.

I liked Radioactive, but Trunk Muzik spitting hot fire Yelawolf could be one of the greatest, honestly, if he keeps developing the way he has through those freestyles.

I don't know how much it sold overseas but in the US, Radioactive sold over 142,000 so far.

And by upstairs he means Jimmy Iovine, that little wanker is ruining everything.

And be aware that he said he loves Shady Records, it's management (Jimmy) that he hates.

IMO if he got promoted right he could have been big... not as big as em but likely best selling white rapper next to him since not many have made it main stream.

Pure honesty, for once.

So glad Yela said all of this as it's exactly what I was thinking.

"I fully compromised" - Amen.

Glad he's seen the light again, am now more excited for Love Story.

I also agree with him about the mishandling of Radioactive. Even though I feel the album was a mixed bag and he ruined what could and should have been a classic debut... there's definitely some songs on there that could have been hits, "Made in the USA" should have been for sure.

I think like many though, maybe he's misinterpreting Interscope's role? he says he gave it to them 'to work', but Interscope are distribution, I think HE and his team have to work it. This has been confirmed by 50 and others who have fallen out, that basically, the artist still has to do the work.

I think artists think when they get signed everything is done for them...

Where as if you look at Em... it was kind of a unique situation due to the fact Interscope needed a star artist and Dre personally signed him but aside from that: Em and his team did / do all the stuff, Mr. Porter confirmed this in a 2010 interview.

And if you go back and check on all the viral marketing or effort put forth, it all came from Em and Paul and Em's team. Em did a lot of interviews, TV and radio spots, he made his videos happen, he came up with concepts etc. but most of all... he made material which simply couldn't resist public attraction. The point is, if the material is THAT good, it'll market itself, so there's no excuse.

I think Interscope are gonna have more faith in Yela by the time Love Story comes around. He's got 4 projects this year: The Heart of Dixie, Psycho White with Travis Barker, Trunk Muzik Returns and Country Cousins with Big K.R.I.T. Seeing as Love Story's not out until next year, hopefully the two parties sort their shit out.

Why is he fucking over artists who can put out GREAT music and making them compromise? I really wish that Shady would separate from Interscope but it'll never happen, Shady won't have a distribution deal anymore if they did it, would they?

Whoah...

The point here is being misread I think.

Yela is saying that Interscope didn't promote or work Radioactive properly, not that Interscope made him compromise. He says he compromised but HE made that choice.

Yelawolf is the one who compromised his music, in an attempt to broaden his audience. At no point does he say / has he said that he was forced to make Radioactive how it is, that's what it's called that: he made an attempt at radio. It was his Infinite.

He's pissed off because he compromised for nothing, as he's saying Interscope didn't use it.
