Ghost was my favorite beat by Em from all those tracks he produced.

Runnin and Ghost were fine...because Eminem didn't distort 2pac's vocals or chop up his vocals to say things he didn't say.

The beat and hook to Ghetto Gospel are alright, but Tupac's vocals are distorted, and it sounds really weird and awkward and bad, to anyone that's heard Tupac's music before.

To the few of you okay with what Eminem did on Loyal To The Game...imagine Eminem died...and Rapper X who Eminem never worked with rose in popularity, and finagled the rights to Eminem's music for a posthumous album. On this album Rapper X distorts Eminem's vocals to fit his beats, and chops up Eminem's vocals to shout out Rapper X's crew/peers, whom Eminem never worked with before. Would you really be okay with this? I seriously doubt it.

You're acting like this is something new to 2pac's music tho. Like they only did this for Eminem. They've chopped the shit out of almost every song they've released since he died with the exception of the Makaveli album which was practically already pressed when he died. Em did a bad job stretching tracks, he should have stretched the beat not his vocals but other than that he did alright. There are far far worse songs they remixed than on Loyal To The Game.

What's really a shame is remixing Johnny J tracks. The man was a beast and since both artists are dead they should have let them been released as they were.

and with all this Yelawolf self promotion and releases I still havn't seen him mention a thing about even talking to Em anymore.

So back to Yelawolf..
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

I just want Eminem and Shady to be like the other labels out there that collaborate all the time and feel like a family like Kanye/GOOD Music and Wayne/Young Money. Plus, I want more Eminem songs.

Kanye can put out whatever music he wants.

Eminem has to compromise and put out pandering pop bullshit...or Mister Paul won't let him release his album.

No wonder GOOD Music is a happier family.

I've never listened to a Kanye song and felt like he was forced to make it by his label. Can't say that with Em.

I don't think Paul is calling the shots when it comes to what Eminem can or can't do in terms of songs.

Maybe the argument could be made for Jimmy being that person, but at this stage in the game, even that's a cop out. This is one of the biggest artists in the world, a true fucking superstar. He could practically do whatever the fuck he wanted to, regardless of what the label wanted, pretty much since 2002.

He's used to the formula though, and makes what he makes. I don't think he's forced to do anything. I just think his objections aren't as strong as they once were to pressures placed on him by the market, or whoever he may be working with. At the end of the day, his situation is not that of Slaughterhouse or Yelawolf; this man could put out another Encore this year, with "My First Single" as the first single, and Interscope would release that shit.

GOOD Music is a different atmosphere. I'm not a huge fan, but they do what they do, and everyone seems happy. The eclectic styles don't seem to conflict with what the label wants, so no one's bending over.

Something alot of people seem to be skipping over

Yelawolf was already signed to Interscope for a year before he was moved to Shady. I don't care what story Em & Yela themselves try and sell the audience, my gut tells me that Yelawolf on Shady was an Interscope move to try and put him next to a bigger star when Interscope themselves failed to generate much hype for him after signing him and releasing "Trunk Muzik 0-60"

You can see the difference in how much more involved he has been with Slaughterhouse in comparison to Yela. Not saying he doesn't like him or nothing, I just don't think he cares all that much one way or the other
