I think that was pretty obvious though... I don't see a comparison here. Not just the albums... there were classic songs flying left, right & center in the beef era! :worship: It just couldn't be better as all those great albums were coming one after another. This shit was unrealistic... the new roster doesn't stand a chance.

I feel you on that it's not even close but i was surprised that quite alot on here like Slaughtehouse for example where as outside the net or in general universally i know nuff people that play 50 or Obie's music. But not S/H

I love Slaughterhouse & I love Yela too but they are not even close... they don't have a chance to deliver such ground braking albums. Shady Records original crew was even a great era for hip-hop in general... this shit was unfuckwithable.

Yelawolf is better than 50 Cent could ever dream to be. The only thing 50 had was mainstream appeal.

yes. no .no

50 Cent has never made any song on the same level as Catfish Billy/Pop The Trunk and never will. He is honestly only popular due to his unique pronunciation (which he got from getting shot in the mouth), flow, and nice instrumentals. Oh, and good hooks.

Well, on original Shady I enjoyed 50 Cent, D12, Obie Trice, and Ca$his (when he was on, a lot of times he wasn't good). On new Shady, I really only enjoy Yelawolf, and Budden/Royce from SH (when they're on, on occasion they suck).

So I guess I'll have to go with old Shady. I still listen to those artists a fuck of a lot more than I listen to the newer ones in total. I still love Yela, but I can't stand Joell Ortiz and Crooked I 80% of the time, and Royce and Budden are streaky as hell when it comes to song quality.

All these threads are fucking retarded.

"You agree with my opinion? Cool, I like you."

"You like ____? Fuck you. " -Six or seven people.

Fucking pointless argumentation, no reason for it especially when the OP is replying to every post hating on everyone who says 2.0 was even close to original. Why should I even stoop to Your level and respond if all that awaits me is an attack? Dick.

Shady 2.0 is much more skilled creatively and technically as a whole. I don't care what people say, 50 is garbage. Obie and D12 vs Yela and Slaughterhouse.

Yelawolf vs Obie Trice

Obie is an obnoxious, overconfident dickwad who happens to be good at rapping. But is fucking lazy with his flow, as opposed to Yela's obvious drive and hunger. Yelawolf>>>>>>>>>Obie Trice.

D12 vs Slaughterhouse

Slaughterhouse is far better in the technical sense, and as individuals they are far better rappers than D12. But D12 as a collective (even without Em) are a fucking beast together. Devil's Night was fucking great; even though nobody but Em and Proof were good technically, their chemistry and their creativity (That's How, Revelation) was fucking fantastic. Slaughterhouse just seems so disconnected in comparison. D12>>>>>>>>>Slaughterhouse.

So.....Tie, I guess?

To me it seems more as if EM doesn't wanna disrespect an artist and say he is wack...I don't know I just think he says people are dope but he doesn't really mean it.

On topic though Original Shady D12, 50 and Obie FTW :y:

And btw, it seems like Eminem likes any rapper who doesn't diss him. The reason why he never attacked black rappers first is because he respected and idolized almost all of them.

Common guys... apart Em & apart the skills & talent them other dudes posses this Shady 2.0 is barely relevant in comparison to other labels, let alone it can't even compete with wack labels/artists in that matter. It's not just about skills... you have to deliver solid material that have to stretch further than the core of fans & you definitely have to at least be able to compete commercially too if you're up to be measured with the best.

The original Shady crew was a dominant & unfuckwithable force that was dropping classic after classic & was moping the floor with anything on the way. The original crew was deleting labels off the map & was giving careers just by affiliation.

Seriously... no comparison. Shady 2.0 so far is just about some dope artists with great potential being signed to Eminem's label while the original crew was/always gonna be a whole era in hip-hop.

Shady 2.0 as a term is overrated though 'cuz at the end of the day technically D12 (questionable considering their status) & 50 are still on the label too so I'd rather make it count that way.
