41k in his first week is a decent start to build a fanbase. Don't tell me that Creekwater was his first album. That was basically him handing out copies. This is his first true debut album, and I expect it to continue to sell slowly through the release of more singles (he still has some good ones left) and the video with Kid Rock. The Vibe issue also helps.

His next album should do way better.

What they should have done is released the video to Lets Roll before the album dropped, to build hype. 40k is reasonable but it could have done better..

Word eh? I guess cuz I imagine myself, I take time to drop just WRITTENS on here and I'm sure every writer here gets annoyed if their work is slept on/unfed - it's the same for artists when they get their music downloaded.

Fuck modern day kids.

Oh, fuck yeah, I feel the same way. I HATE when my writtens slept on, I don't even know how I'd handle a whole album being slept on.

Doesn't he have a brain of his own? Can't he just raise his voice, when it's getting evident that his Album is not getting promoted. Obviously he didn't rely on the fact that Eminem mentioning him in his 1 or 2 interviews would mean actual promotion, he should have done something in his defense. You can't blame the Label for this.

Agreed, like when you put your heart and soul into your work then either it gets slept on, you get BS feed, and then you get people that think they know where you went and come out with stupid opinions. The last piece I wrote on her was about Watch the Throne and the Cater IV but no one saw the subliminal references in that, and I thought they'd be easy to spot. But anyway, artist have to put up with a lot, leaks and flops. I'd go nuts if I were Yelawolf right now, but I guess he is high off of being able to release an album. But seriously, I'd want to fuck everything up in my way if my music leaked or flopped.

I dunno why the album is flopping...He got soo much hype recently in terms of being known as an artist..

I guess it might have something to do with the fact that people don't buy CDs anymore.
