^All the members of Slaughterhouse have said that they wanted to make this type of music, so really it's Slaughterhouse's "fault" that Slaughterhouse made this type of music.

The -always-so-humble Crooked I has also revealed his true colors... I just can't wait 'til Joell sends a big juicy fuck you to 'fans-turned-haters' on twitter. It's better day by day. As if we promised them to buy their shit and now we would say that 'oh, I'll buy it tomorrow, no, I'll buy it in July, no, sorry, I'm running out of money this month, I'll buy it in August'.

I've just listened to D.O.A. freestyle where Budden raps that the industry always fucks you up in the ass. He knew it, but Marshall and Royce's relationship and the promise of good money made them forget about it in the end. It's just sad, but fuck it. The music will come, we will hear it or not. There's music beyond Slaughterhouse and judging by their recent output we can't be more disappointed.

I also read that Crooked thinks that people only expect one kind of a song twenty times from them on the album. No, we, or I, for one, expect lyrical songs from them after they were busy promotin their Shady Records debut with the catchphrase 'it's good to be lyrical' again. Then be lyrical! Or if you've realized that how fun is to make money without effort 'cause 'your radio song still has more bars' than the lame shit of those wack MC's you used to take shots at, then be it just don't try to rationalize that to your core fans whose numbers will decrease radically day by day from these stupid excuses by the end of August...

This song has grown on me a lot...it's really not so bad...I can get why you guys don't like it but I for one like it for the beat alone at least.

Not liking it one beat even after several listens. I'll throw it off my Recycle bin too. :y:

I like the beat. Slaughterhouse are boring now though, they're just recycling the same old content over and over.

That's not even funny. You have an obsession with imitating people's lyrics I think.

And he doesn't mean more bars as in quantity, he means more bars as in the quality of them. Sure, it's a strip club song. When you think of SLAUGHTERhouse you don't think "strip clubs" but it's still lyrical, at least from Crooked's verse. And he's the one who said that.

So what's the problem? Do you want them to rap about the same thing over and over? When Eminem always raps about violence towards women you get frustrated with that. Maybe not you in particular, but in general people don't like it. If we received an album EXACTLY the same as "Slaughterhouse" then I'd be more disappointed than receiving what we're getting now since it would show absolutely no evolution.

And these are just singles so who gives a fuck. They might not even make the cut come August.

Geno wrote:Well it's no surprise that you don't like it. They've said prior to releasing anything that this album was gonna be more like Lighters and it'd be more celebratory. I guess they celebrate by going to the strip club. One of my favourite rappers is Tech N9ne and he raps about strip clubs and shit all the time. Never once has he sacrificed the "art form" or "craft" of hip-hop to make those types of songs, just like Slaughterhouse hasn't. Just because they're trying to get some radio play by making a club-sounding song doesn't mean they're "leaving their lane" or anything. Their lane is lyrics. They're still lyrical.

But like I said before we can agree to disagree. :y:

You can make a club song while remaining lyrical but Throw It Away isn't lyrical at all.. You can highlight all the rhymes you want but it's still shit lyrically and it doesn't help that it just sounds like noise.

So Slaughterhouse went from really boring to total shit.

This is atrocious. Absolutely zero creativity.

Slaughterhouse as a group has absolutely no chemistry, not to mention most of the rappers in the group aren't even good. Joe Budden is a straight goat but can't get all emotional and shit on tracks like this.

That's what happens when 4 different MC's come together to form a group. But they have enough time to develop that chemistry, so can't lose hope right away.

I think part of the issue with their chemistry is that they advertise themselves as a group of four different solo rappers. They try to stay separate, where D12 was just a rap group.

6 came together for D12 and they were amazing back in the day. Still could be if they ever did something, but that's another topic.

They were childhood friends, right? So they new each other a lot better. Let's not go into that, it's a different segment.
