I'm telling you all it's a 2.0 Re-Up album... It makes all the sense in the world really. I've only known Shady Records to have BIG announcements when it's album related, the last one ending up being information on Bad Meets Evil I believe after we got so many announcements to the announcement. I'm putting money on 2.0 album

I would love this to be true, as long as D12 and 50 was on it as well...50 sounds great when he collabs with Eminem, I wanna hear one of their collabs soon, if a 2.0 Re-Up comes out it should be on it.

I'm kind of glad D12 are done with (if they are)...

Em's biggest flaw in his prime was associating himself with such subpar rappers / artists. Not that the guys in D12 (aside from Bizarre) are bad rappers, but, artistically - they're very dull.

Where as now, he's surrounded himself with guys who can currently, give him a run for his money. He's got four lyrical giants in Slaughterhouse and then, Yelawolf who's incredibly visual and although he fucked up his debut... he has huge potential, artistically. He's very skilled and talented.

For once, he has rappers that justify the Shady brand.

And, I think a 2.0 album would be a good idea but, I think just the new guys would be best. As it would be all quality between Em, Slaughter and Yela. Fresh, new, quality. 50 to me, would be a downer on that 'newness', that 'freshness', and, for me personally, he'd ruin it.

Did he really say with all 3 of them? I don't watch any "big events"...I though he was only talking about Slaughterhouse. Can you try to find a link to that or something?

It was at the VMAs. He mentioned "working on a track with Slaughterhouse and 50 Cent". Whether that's one track with them both or seperate tracks is unknown.

D12 was not mentioned.

I'm gonna disagree there, I feel like D12 can bring the best out of Em. And I've really noticed Kuniva has been improving beyond belief. I just want to be sure Eminem hasn't forgotten the key players who brought Shady Records to be the biggest label out back in 2002-2004.

D12 definitely can bring out the best in Em... due to the fact... he's competing, and is sort of expected to be the leader- so it just makes him another kind of animal.

His verses on Devils Night are INCREDIBLE.

And I think even now they'd bring out a better him, as, his verse on "Fame", to me... is fucking awesome. It's like audio cocaine.

But I really wouldn't wanna hear them on a 2.0 album. I think a 2.0 album should be just that, an album focusing on the 2.0 artists aka Slaughter and Yela. And then, I wouldn't mind a new D12 album, but I also wouldn't be that bothered if I didn't get one.

I like that Em's focus is on such quality rappers now.

50 is ehh but I feel like it would be somewhat empty without him somewhere as far as a Shady Records album.

50 has only ever really been good at hooks... well, Power to the Dollar is actually a great album. But then since that album, his rapping (verses / content) has been subpar and repetitive.

The only thing of note to me in recent times from him is "Stretch". The concept for that chorus and... to make the word stretch as the hook / word / concept like that, is genius.

But he's a bad lyricist and has nothing to say, I think he'd only dilute the quality of a SR album.

I just don't get why Shady Record would announce a new album right now. Won't that take the attention away from the Slaughterhouse album? Em should promote the shit outta SH now, not announce a new 2.0 album etc. He can do that after SH has released their album.

I just hope Em signed a new artist or that he is doing a movie.
