They all have similar styles and they were never "amazing".. Devils Night without Eminem would be completely average, especially with that fat fuck ruining songs.

That's amazing to me.

I think Geno's actually upset with us. You can see his hand hovering over the ban button.

How do any of them have the audacity to call rap thesedays trash or imply they're above it when they're fucking adhering to the unwritten rules of wack and putting out stuff like this.

None of their rapping in the song was particularly bad but, the concept and overall song... really?

They have nothing to say. Nobody has anything to fucking say these days. Nobody has the balls or creativity to come up with original or daring concepts, it's all much the same, even these guys now.

People say 'it's just the singles' but the singles are what need to connect publicly to drive the sales. It shouldn't be a routine song that aims for broad appeal in the hope of connecting on obvious merits, it's a chance to trick the market and do something unheard of, wasted... again.

There hasn't been a "Stan" since "Stan". Rappers are so uncreative now.

They do stick to a strip club concept...you guys are really not giving them a whole lot of credit. This is better than a lot of singles out there...it's certain better than anything YM could ever do. But if you actually listen to the lyrics, they each rap about what they're doing in a strip club, and they still manage to rhyme well.

Slaughterhouse is a group comprised of four established solo artists.

D12 is a hanger-on group, comprised of one solo artist and his friends / weed carriers.

No comparison.

"Throw It Away" is boring though.

I think it's because most people aren't willing to break barriers or take the risk. It seems like the new thing is to talk about how mainstream music is wack and talk about how redundant it is to talk about bitches weed and money, yet talking about how redundant it is, is redundant in itself. EVERYONE wants to be the "Savior of Hip Hop" nowadays, when in my opinion, they should stop focusing on saving Hip Hop, and focus more on what they can bring to the table. That's why I've been on my Kanye shit for the past 5 months now.

Yup. Kanye is one of the only major rappers right now truly taking risks and digging deep.

I've been on a Ye trip for a long time now too. Everybody else is too predictable.

I mean, Hip Hop is art, yet barely anyone wants to paint a beautiful picture anymore. Everyone's all focused on how hot their bars are, or how much multies are in their rhymes, or how hard their punchlines hit, or whatever it is they're worried about nowadays. Now while ALL of that is important, what difference does it bring to the table? I mean anyone now can write multies, TR's CW is proof of that (No disrespect to any writers over there, just an example). What's left, flow? Okay, you've got a nice flow. So what? Joe Schmoe from Idaho can flow real dope though, so what makes you special? That's what I'm looking at now, because any cat can rhyme now. Can you tell a story and make me feel and envision your picture? That's another story.

This is the exact reason why I love Yelawolf, Big K.R.I.T., Dom Kennedy, and the Black Hippy (Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, Schoolboy Q, & Jay Rock if you didn't know) movement so much. J Cole is a good emcee too, but he dropped the soap on his debut, apparently he's going back to his original sound and innovating it for his second album after the label forced him to do mainstream oriented songs for his debut. That being said, his debut was pretty fucking amazing, it just doesn't compare to his older shit. Anyway, I'm not feeling Kanye's newer shit. "Mercy" and "I Don't Like (Remix)" don't do it for me, however I do like "New God Flow." He still hasn't topped "Late Registration" in my opinion, however.

The song is okey after listen to it 10 times
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.
