Yelawolf Radioactive Offical Discussion Thread

Postby ajsotb » Aug 4th, '11, 15:52

First off, im a big fan of yelawolf and his music, Trunk Muzik 0-60 was dope and a solid mixtape. And yela getting signed to shady and his verse on 2.0 Boys got me hyped for Radioactive but, after hearing Gangsta of love and Hard White im not so sure this will be on the level of Trunk Muzik the beats imo were really fitting and good for yela on that project but the beats so far dont really go with him.Was wondering some other tr members thoughts for Radioactive

Gonna suck.
"Gangsta of Love" and "White Hard (Up In The Club)" are both horrible tracks.

I really like, I think the beat is very good on both, he plays with his flow, I find him quite comfortable over such tracks. Really a style of its own. :y:

But I understand that everyone cannot go inside.

We really cannot say how Radioactive will be, but the album title suggests to me that this will be the same atmosphere.
I'm out of the matrix and I improved my music taste here, I opened my eyes and discovered so different ways to see the world, thanks to you all!

Yelawolf has potential to be very successful in the mainstream. Probably not going to happen with tracks like these.

That said, I am really looking forward to this.

£20 says 2.0 Boys is on this.

Menzo wrote:His verse on World Wide Choppers really got me pumped up, the boy has so much potential and he can really change the mainstream sound if he is raised properly. I'm really excited to see the list of producers - we know Jim Jonsin is a for sure and most likely Em.

Holy fuck, I had a mind ejac - imagine an album produced by the likes of Jim Jonsin, Eminem, Mr. Porter, Premier, Havoc, Dr. Dre (lol), Just Blaze and hmm...Nottz, he produced Merry Go Round on Royce's "Success Is Certain".

Fuckin crazy!

yela on a dre beat would be interesting ha and im looking forward to some solo em production and em collab also hope will powers produces some he produced alot of yela work

BURN!

I'd listen to yelawolf over Joe budden.

Sorry, Joe's voice just sounds....meeh and bland to me. But yelawolf has my 2nd modern day favorite song, "Good to go."

And honestly, his new single, minus the hook, is fire. Can't wait. :y:

It is going to be a amazing album, he has many good verses. I won't mind having 2.0 Boys on the CD though as long it is a bonus track or something.

This is the album I'm most looking forward to this year. Although I'm not lovin Hard White and Gangsta of Love as much as the Trunk Muzik mixtape, I hope he gets a few of the producers off that mixtape on that album.
