Ight guys, first time around was a piece of shit, nowwww Yelawolf is finally getting a hand. Go on Vevo and check any video, It has his picture all over the place. Maybe this will continue :y:

If you think about it, it's fuckin easy to promote shit but Interscope does that to just few artists that are expected to open with big numbers (Em and Gaga for example).
Fuck, they promoted a song that was never released and it got millions of views on youtube (Die Hard)!


Any idea of when that will release btw?

The album hasn't done bad considering the promotion or lack thereof. He's over 85,000 now. With the late promotion, it should continue to sell.

Promotion isn't for free. National TV commercials & radio-airplay is expensive as f'ck. Interscope (& labels in general) promote when they see a profit-opportunity. It's a business, labels could care less how the actual quality of the music is.

That said... I hope this re-release (or w/e it is) will do better than the original release. I have my doubts though.

I'm not sure about this but I would think that if they promoted the shit out of it and it still didn't sell then they would just see Yela as a giant sink hole sucking money out of their pockets (Would they drop him?)

Yela's got a Detroit show coming up March 6, if anybody is interested and in the area. Tickets are $18.

Radioactive was good, but unfortunately he got fucked with the lack of promotion...hopefully they do it right this time.

Yelawolf, the edgy Southern rap talent signed by Eminem to his Shady Records imprint, will be touring [lol one show is not a tour] Australia this March, fresh off the release of his debut album Radioactive.

Yelawolf will visit Australia late March for his debut shows from coast to coast. He plays Fowlers Live in Adelaide on Wednesday, March 28 with support acts Briggs, Grifters Inc + special guests. Tickets available via http://www.moshtixcom.au, on sale Fri 3rd Feb.
