Joell, while speaking on the track featuring Eminem on the album, which Crooked I had earlier described as "psycho," said:

"It is, it is (psycho). Crooked I actually used the perfect word. That record is going to be talked about, cause it's different, but it still has an edge & that was a perfect word Crooked used, psycho, cause it's a crazy record, definitely crazy.. (the song) is conceptual. You can party to it without even payin' attention to the fact that it's conceptual, you know what I'm saying.

The last thing people wanna do in the club is think when they're partyin. They just wanna feel good and it [the track] still feels good even though it's conceptual. And that's very very hard to do & we walked a delicate line with that record and every-body's going to like it man. I'm excited."

Joell, while talking about whether the album is going to be 'radio friendly,' said:

"..We're dealing with Eminem, who's a genius at getting records that are lyrical to still be as important and as heard as something that's, you know, maybe dumbed down or whatever to keep it radio. We never compromised any of our pens to put a record in a certain direction.. Man, if y'all listenin' for lyrics man, ur going to hear lyrics all throughout this album. We just gave it our all, all of us.. We're all excited to be in the studio with Eminem, to have a Shady release date & to really just work hard, so, May 15th, man, make sure you scratch it on the calendar.."

I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

I don't believe so...I think when we finally get Detox we'll get maybe 3 full Dre beats then the rest are beats from other people who produced the beat while Dre arranged it or some shit...I think it'll be the same way with Kanye and the WTT producers...Kanye steered the music in a certain direction even though he didn't produce every beat.
