Do you think Yelawolf will blow up?

Postby Man1x » Mar 20th, '12, 21:06

I hope he does but he really hasn't been given the chance. I hope he gets his name out there with some RAW music on his next LP. Radioactive had enough poppy songs that didn't get played by radios that I don't need more of them from him, the ones he released on radioactive were good IMO but his chill X hard rock styles are what I like the most about him. Your opinions? Also, do you think Slaughterhouse has any chance of blowing up, and do you all think 50 Cent can regain the fame he lost?

I would prefer him to stay on the underground tip. No big sales, but still being able to feature and perform with the bigggest stars.

Why would you ever want an artist to NOT make big sales?

Cause I don't care about sales, I care more about the artist's output

When rappers blow up, they usually slow down in their output of music. & more often then not, their views change, and sometimes they become sell outs

Yelawolf might... slaughterhouse wont. People already have an opinion on Joe Budden and everyone in the crew by now and that is harder to change than some freshfaced hillbilly from the south imo

I wont Yelawolf to blow up though as long as he makes the music the way it should be made. I kinda figure Slaughterhouse won't but you never know, and with 50 Cent he could regain his fame but I never said the amount he had before. I just really want Yela up there doing big numbers and bringing life into Shady. Everyone I know thinks it's weird that I listen to Yela, Kendrick (who will no doubt blow), etc. because they not popular or in YM

Like Manx said, its great when you can put a track you fuck with at a local party and everyone vibes to it and creates memories. I'd bet my life everyone has a story to "In Da Club"

Not big, but I think he'll eventually build up a strong fanbase and start selling more as he drops more albums.

This is what people think when I listen to SH, Tech N9ne, artists from FV, etc. It really pisses me off lol.

I know right! Every fucking person I want to blow up doesn't and it fucking pisses me off. Like whenever I listen to Yelawolf I get pissed that he isn't everywhere at this point but people like YM got their faces an albums everywhere. I just hope YM has a decline much like that of death row and shady/aftermath/g-unit.

Edit: Sadly I don't think it will happen soon since everyone to scared to diss them and everyone sucks their left nut. It's sad, these clowns made hip hop so soft.

Slaughterhouse will gain respect(though they wont be commercially successfull).
Yelawolf will end up nothing.
