Meh.

I'd rather just get a Slaughterhouse album.

Nobody cares about D12 except for the Stanniest of Stans. Also, they've been dead for almost a decade.

Actually a Mixtape would make more sense than an Album.

Even tough beef is great for us, its bad for them. Labels see more money in collaborations than dissing. Thats why Em changed his mined about lil wayne and kanye (imo). That line on recovy saying "thank god I didnt do it, Id have my ass handed to me" means nothing else than that the industry would kick Marshall out if he reintrouduced himself with straight out dissing everybody that was spitting at the time. Ill continue on this later. as of now, im going to barf a bit and pass out on the bed. Good night.

I wouldn't mind a 2.0 album tbh, but fuck D12.

D12, along with Obie, 50 etc. are original Shady.

Shady 2.0... although so far fucked up (Radioactive and Slaughterhouse singles) is easily the best set of artists Em has had signed in a given moment.

A Shady 2.0 album would definitely be cool / lyrically insane, D12 or old Shady would ruin it for me.

Yeah but they're too predictable at this point.

None of those guys would ruin it (they just wouldn't add much), but D12 would = Bizarre (even though he's 'out' of D12 now, he's still like a main member and would be on it if they were) and ANY Bizarre appearance on any release ruins the entire fucking thing. He sucks beyond belief.

So can pretty much every single internet emcee. Doesn't mean they should feature on a major release.

The problem isn't that they can't rap 4 syllables, it's that they wouldn't add anything memorable and they're boring as fuck now.

I want Eminem just to focus on his solo music. Slaughterhouse have no chemistry and are a total yawnfest as a group. I don't care for Yelawolf. 50 is irrelevant at this point. D12 are finished. Shady 2.0 is just a waste of time.

Well for people accusing them of not being lyrical, they're wrong. That's the only reason I said it, read.

It's easy to say something is boring when you don't listen to it. Be serious Mike, when's the last time you legitimately listened to new D12 music - whether it be their mixtape or individual work? I'm willing to bet...a long time.

And as for the rest of what you said, redundant pessimism as usual I see. That's a yawnfest.

Rhyming 4+ syllables =/= 'being lyrical'

I listened to that Return of the Dozen Vol. 1 & 2. And a couple of those tracks that released after Fuzz rejoined. Nothing new. It's all too predictable. I never really found any of the members outside Em & Proof any good, anyway. Even when D12 were making some decent music. Swifty had a few good verses here and there but nothing that memorable, really.

Hardly redundant pessism. What have Shady 2.0 done so far? Yelawolf has released a shit album and SH have released a few terrible singles. No-one is really interested in 50 Cent or D12. Jesus, I really should be more optimistic about Shady Records, shouldn't I? Is Cashis doing something incredible?

No Mike, you're by far one of the most consistently negative members here, it's undeniable. This is shit, that is garbage, it was cringe worthy here, it was selling out there. It gets boring, and I've sometimes wondered why you insist on torturing yourself by continuously practicing that lifestyle. Is it just excess anger from losing footy bets? Perhaps you're a musical masochist? I don't know, it's really none of my business. But it's pretty redundant and predictable when I 99% of the time I see your posts, I could bet my account it's something negative.

I'm posting on an Eminem forum and I don't like Eminem's (and associated artists) material of late. Hence why a lot of my posts on the subject are negative. I continue to listen to Eminem (for eg) in the hope they can still impress me. Eminem does it occasionally.

I could bet my account that 99% of what is posted on here in general is positive. Maybe that's redundant and predictable. What's your point?

Considering how shit the world is in general, the chances are I'm going to be negative about things most of the time. As most things are shit, to me.

Music is subjective, so if you don't like it, you don't like it and that's all there is to it.....but you don't seem to like anything - Ever - I hope you didn't grow up with childhood depression because that can potentially have severe repercussions in adulthood.

Music is subjective, so if you like it, you like and that's all there is to it.

^See how that works? Why does it matter if someone is positive or negative? It's about how they express and argue their views. That's what a forum is for.

EDIT: Christ, I remember have these arguments all the time late 2010/early 2011. Why people take people negative views to heart is beyond me.

Geno wrote:Why people hate D12 blows my mind. Is it because Eminem hasn't done much with them lately, so it's a matter of you guys forgetting how much you loved their albums? Today, if they made an album, it could be close to Devils Night quality. Laugh at that all you want, but a sober Em combined with the whole group's ideas would for sure bring a classic (in my eyes). Sure, Proof is gone, but Fuzz is back and the group wouldn't want to let Proof down on an album. D12 World was just a good album, nothing amazing, but that's when Em started his decline with the drugs. Songs like Leave That Boy Alone were subpar. Kinda boring sometimes.

But today, they'd be good and the individual members have improved a lot. If they dropped a single with Em, you'd all be bumping it.

Devil's Night & D12 World had a couple good songs, but were pretty inessential albums.

There's a reason why whenever you see a list of the greatest hip hop groups of all time, you never see D12.
