Despite promotion almost second to none Curtis Jackson failed to crack 200,000, while pushing 161,200, respectively according to Neilsen Soundscan. This is 50's lowest first week sales of his career and the first time he didn't go gold with his first week numbers, excluding G-Unit's T.O.S. These numbers also include two weeks of digital sales on iTunes. His album did leak online almost a month in advance which undoubtedly affected his numbers.
50 Cent's arch-nemesis, Game, is always one to kick a man while he's down, taking to his twitter page.
Game’s thoughts via twitter:"#whitethoughts 50 used to be my nigga #blackthoughts this sucka n!gga album only sold 150,000 the 1st week… you can go head & destruct now" – IHateGame
Now Game is starting a new movement to help his "old friend" go gold.
"I'm startin a trending topic #help50goGOLD .," he wrote Monday (November 24). "if you'd like to contribute to my old friends sub-par album sales please just "RETWEET" this." - IHateGame
