Bon Iver is planning on releasing this album in June, but it was accidentally put up for sale on iTunes a few days ago.

After 2 listens, I already think this is better than 'For Emma, Forever Ago'.
My current favorites are 'Perth', 'Towers', 'Michicant' & 'Beth/Rest', however that is subject to change with further listening.

If I get the time, I might write a short review for the album. Until then, enjoy this amazing album.

No love for Bon Iver?

Didn't see the topic. Never thought there would be Bon Iver fans on here (apart from some members), but I guess since his collaboration with Kanye he is more known to the public? Not to say that he is underground or whatever, just wondering. Ofcourse, it's also perfectly possible that you're just a Bon Iver fan since the start.

I think the record is great, especially because it's so hard to create an album that could possibly be any better than For Emma. I think this one is almost as good, it sounds like a typical Bon Iver record while still sounding new and fresh.

Favorite track is Michicant, the beauty of that track is unbelievable.

Well, 'For Emma, Forever Ago' dropped on my 14th birthday, and he wasn't really big back then, so no, I haven't been a fan since the start. However, I've heard great things about Bon Iver way before Kanye's album. I have just recently gotten fully into his music, though. So I guess I'm somewhere in the middle, huh? lol

Anyway, I think I may have gotten a bit carried away when I said it's better than his 1st album, but I'd say they're pretty even.
