I think Adele is great. Definitly one of the better singers in the U.S. I can't speak for everybody but I think her "weight" has nothing to do with her skills. I think Christina Agulera has a great voice and she's pretty hot as well. So when someone is actually talented I can accept it reguardless of what they look like.

BTW, Adele doesn't seem to be that "big" anymore. I've seen some older photos of her when she was fatter but now it seems that she is much thinner now. She looks great in her new music video. That's just my opinion.

Something that i respect about her is that she doesn't have to act slutty or shit like that in her music videos/lyrics to sell unlike so many of those female pop stars. It's great to see a British artist and a deserved artist to be #1 in the world and the album 21 will probably be album of the decade at this rate.

Someone Like You is very boring aswell. Here in the UK, it's currently the best-selling song of the decade, and it's on the radio ALL THE TIME. Honestly, if you hear it once or twice, it sounds nice (I liked it at first aswell), but when you hear it hundreds of times, it's just terrible.

And the worst thing is you get all those old-fashioned Republican/conservative/upper class people who are all like "Oh, it's nice to see someone in the charts who writes her own lyrics, who can actually sing, who does have swear words in her songs, who doesn't show cleavage, who doesn't do songs about sex, blah blah blah". Honestly, it gets really annoying, especially in this country where there's a lot of old-fashioned people. They come out in full force when Adele is concerned.

I listened " Someone like you" for the first time in the car. I turned the radio on and that song was playing. I didnt know who was, or if she was fat or not, beautiful or not, or showing cleavage or not...
But I loved the song. When I got home i searched some of the lyrics that I could remember and I found out that she was Adele.
And I still love that song. Adele is a great artist, she doesnt look like a supermodel, but at the end what she does are songs.
