I have, good read. As interesting as it though, it's pretty sad to see how flawed his logic is.

I've only actually heard a handful of tracks but, they sound amazing.

So energetic and defined, and their videos are great.

I've downloaded their discography, gonna dig in soon.

You're in for a treat. I think I already mentioned this before in this thread,... But I really do recommend anyone - not so familiar with RHCP - to listen to their concert DVD "Live at Slane Castle". It'll blow your mind. Youtube it,download it or w/e. That's the video that introduced me to RHCP, and I was overwhelmed, to say the least. Been a fan since.

New video!

You can read here about Brendan

Beautiful lyrics

Live and die before I get it done,
Will you decide.
I'll take my words and turn them into sounds,
It will survive.
Because a long time ago,
I knew not to deprive.

It's safe out there and now you're everywhere,
Just like the sky.
And you are love,
You are the love supreme,
You are the rye.
And when you hear this,
You know it's your jam,
It's your goodbye.

[Chorus:]
Like I said you know I'm almost dead,
You know I'm almost gone.
And when the drummer drums,
He's gonna play my song,
To carry me along.
Like I said you know I'm almost dead,
You know I'm almost gone.
And when the boatman comes to ferry me away,
To where we all belong.

We all crossed
When we were feeling lost,
It's just the time.
Kateri cried,
The day her lover died,
She recognized.
Because ya gave her,
A life of real love,
It's no surprise.

The night's are long,
But the years are short,
When you're alive.
Way back when,
Will never be again,
It was a time.
It's gonna catch you,
So glad I met you,
To walk a line.

[Chorus:]

Come get me
Hey!

Hey!

Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!

[Chorus:]

Then we live,
So every time you die,
He's in the revert sky.
Lay me down,
So when it's time to leave,
Another sun will rise.

I said yeah!
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
I said yeah!
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

[Chorus:]
Like I said you know I'm almost dead,
You know I'm almost gone.
(I said yeah!
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!)
And when the drummer drums,
He's gonna play my song,
To carry me along.
(I said yeah!
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!)
Like I said you know I'm almost dead,
You know I'm almost gone.
(I said yeah!
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!)
And when the boatman comes to ferry me away,
To where we all belong.
(I said yeah!
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!)

Like I said you know I'm almost dead,
You know I'm almost gone.
Like I said you know I'm almost dead,
You know I'm almost gone.
Like I said you know I'm almost dead,
You know I'm almost gone.
I'm out of the matrix and I improved my music taste here, I opened my eyes and discovered so different ways to see the world, thanks to you all!

^I heard that some time ago, didn't really like it, but now that I heard it again, it's awesome! :D

Anyway, I saw RHCP live back in August (they're my 3rd favorite artists ever), and they were freaking amazing. To tell the truth, I don't mind Josh at all.

Favorite album is By The Way, by far.

Personally I think Californication is much better. I love every single song on the album. Lately I listen this a lot :

Road Trippin' is an underrated masterpiece. I prefer By The Way 'cause it doesn't have (or has a little) of that Blood Sugar Sex Magik sound, which I'm not crazy about. I still adore most of Californication. Californication is my favorite RHCP song, Otherside, Emit Remmus, Around The World, Road Trippin', Scar Tissue, Parallel Universe.. it's all so perfect! :D

Don't Forget Me is also incredible, the way he enters that chorus, and John's background vocals... :flutter:

Otherside was my favorite song of Californication at first, then parallel universe, I've been changing...because the whole album is amazing. Road Trippin' grew in me little by little. I think it became my favorite with the time. And a very underrated song, like you said.
