Wow, so basically she could sing about getting fucked in the butt to a catchy electronica tune and you would go out and buy it? Interesting. But if you can't even justify why she is supposedly good past the fact that you personally enjoy the sound of it, then you aint convincing anyone lmao

I don't buy any of her music. And that's basically what she was singing about in I Like It Rough and I like that song :coffee:

@Bili: She is an average singer at best, but I'm just repeating myself. Like I said, if you like/appreciate her music, that's fine. She may make good music to you, but musically speaking, she cannot sing. That video proves nothing, because there's a laundry list of differences between raising/lowering your vocals and actual singing talent. I know because I've studied music, and I'm telling you, by legitimate classical standards, she's terrible. I'm not trying to argue here.

She sings from her chest, and uses it to hold a note. That's not proper music. Regardless of whether you like it or not.

First you say she`s average singer and then you say she cant sing.So is she average or terrible?

Anyways,as you said we`re just repeating ourselfs here.I like here,she can sing in my book,and makes dope music,beats,the vocals,I love everything,you hate it ok,lets move on.

I think she's terrible, musically she's just average. You're right, it's pointless, because it doesn't make a difference what classical scales suggest, it's what your taste of music is. I don't think she produces most of her music, though. I remember reading about her "acclaimed" producer and how he's multi-talented or some such shit.

I think after this album I'll be able to make a Gaga greatest hits album where I don't ever have to skip one song. She'll be one of few artists I can do that with.

Musically Gaga aint nearly as bad as the majority of Pop stars, it seems like shes/the producer is actually trying to make good music. Most of Gagas music I don't like, but thats because the whole electro pop doesnt appeal to me.

@Maybe

If you've studied music then you definitely know more than me, but having a big range isnt something I would I focus on (Though it is awesome when singers you like do). Gaga aint above average, but I think your hating a bit too much.

I find it funny that Gaga has been boasting that she and her producers were working on a revolutionary sound for her new album, and that the production for the first two singles are complete trash. This album looks like its gonna get a baaaaad response (Though she has a fan base that will love anything she puts out)

Yeah, I agree that I'm extremely biased when it comes to her music because I simply don't like it. Her range is below average, but my focus was on her singing method, which sounds very nasal as she uses her chest to emit higher/lower notes. I agree, though, range isn't everything if it's music you enjoy.

I also find that pretty ironic. The production on her previous stuff was actually better, but when you have an army of people ready to dispense cash for anything your manage, it's not hard to confuse your average, trashy euro-pop wannabe music for art.

At least it wont be as bad as the supposed "new genre" Usher and Beyonce are creating together, I'm mentally preparing myself for the moment I have to listen to the almost guranteed ear raping.
