Jazz

Postby Hiphopdane » May 14th, '11, 14:11

I have recently discovered that I have a soft spot for jazz music and I have therefore started digging deep into its musical universe but I don't know that many artists. If anyone can reccomend me some artists or specific tracks, I would happily welcome that :y:

My second favorite genre to hip-hop.

I would recommend:

Eric Dolphy's "Out To Lunch" album.
The track "Stolen Moments" by Eric Dolphy & Oliver Nelson.
Herbie Hancock and the classic "Cantaloupe Island"
David McCallum - The Edge
Quincy Jones - Summer in the City

Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified
