I would say they are a blend of alternative and indie rock with influences from hip-hop and electronica.
Some may classify them as arena rock such as coldplay, but I feel they are too well rounded to really be defined under one genre.

Great band. Night Visions is a great album.
Radioactive (one of the best songs ever, IMO), Demons and Underdog are my favorite...

One slight criticism I have about them though, is that all there songs have the same basic structure.
Not that this is a huge problem, but it would be nice to see them switch it up a bit and break away from the normal structure of song writing. I feel once you break away from that structure you can be much more creative.
