I miss this Eminem SO bad

The new Eminem could never write a song like this. NEVER. Don't get me wrong, Eminem is still great at emotional rapping stuff (Deja Vu, LTWYL, 25 To Life,...) but when it comes to just spitting he totally fucks it up everytime for me. His Westwood freestyles are as good as it gets, but on actual songs, he constantly fails when it's about rapping just for the fuck of it. With a few exceptions of course.
Roman's Revenge and that Celebrity verse are a new lowpoint. He tries much too hard to vibe differently on every song and he's got that annoying up-tempo stop and go flow. And as if that weren't enough he constantly shouts when there's totally no reason to do so. He pulled off the shouting well on Recovery and some other songs (I remember Amityville ), but he is so overdoing it right now.
Oh, and I almost forgot about those bullshit punchlines.
I think what I'm trying to say is, he just needs to smoke a blunt in the studio with Dre and casually spit some ill lyrics over a classic beat. I know he isn't going to do that, but I wish he would. Or he should at least listen to Hopsin and then switch his style up.

Somehow that was a bullshit post, but I feel too blunted right now to think clearly and structure my thoughts. There's some shit I left out I guess.
