If it's "cool" that it's his opinion, why mock it? That's quite the contradiction.

Good review though mate. I enjoyed reading it, nice to see a rating of both Eminem and Royce as opposed to just the track. :y:

I agree with your view on Take From Me, it's just an awesome track!

Nice Review man. Yes, I'm on Everything is good for what its worth (first song on the EP) and The Reunion has NO replay value (at least for me). Overall, i find it REALLY hard to listen to Royce other than just how good his flow and delivery is in general so appreciate it when others point out his contribution.

oh, Welcome to hell :worship:

Man I don't like how everyone treats Lighters. Like, yeah, I understand it doesn't fit but i'd like to know what people think about it by itself, imagine it on Recovery, and then tell me how good it is.

I like it.

I don't agree with your review, but that doesn't make it a bad one. OPINION FTW!

Menzo wrote:If it's an average listener review, why bring up the "Bruno Mars shouldn't have been on the EP seeing as it's BME" point? The average listener wouldn't understand Bruno's misplacement on the EP and seeing as it's an average listener, that song would probably be their favourite.

And f'real, I think it's impossible for anyone on this forum to give an "average listener" review.

I stand corrected.

Average listener = someone who sits and listen to the radio station.

These guys love catchy hooks and the bruno mars song would appeal them. Welcome 2 hell is straight spitting, a lot different from what you hearr.

Yeah, He didn't mean Poppy ass 14 year old girl who won't give a fuck.

Lighters is fire though in my opinion, especially the "Refusing to ever give up" Line.

Good review, though, disagree on some points but whatever. :y:

I appreciate you taking the time to break down each song by rapper, and giving them and the song a rating, but I don't agree with a lot of them. You gave royce a higher rating on most songs, and I can't agree with that. Em kills Welcome 2 Hell, Fastlane (you gave him a 2.75???), Above the Law, I'm on Everything, Lighters, and Take from Me. As far as skill, delivery, and flow, Em is better than ever. I honestly feel that the only song royce competes with em is on Take From Me, the whole "i dont make money to loan it to y'all/hole in the wall" rhyme was his highlite on the album in my opinion. The only thing lacking on this album was the emotional weight behind some of the verses. The content isn't as deep as MMLP, TES, or Recovery, but I challenge anyone to say it's not better technically than anything he's ever done. Above the Law is one of my favorite verses of all time, with the energy, flow, and delivery all flawless. His 4 syllable rhyming in Welcome 2 Hell is insane, along with the flow, and that song just kills it. Giving lighters a low grade is so popular it disgusts me. Em's verse is amazing, and it's one of the few (if only) songs em uses a major key (a lighter, more uplifting feel). His rhyming and flow are impeccable. In Fastlane, can you imagine anyone else in the game stuttering like em and making that flow any better?? I don't think anyone but maybe a tech n9ne could accomplish that. This album is so underrated by people it blows my mind. But with that being said, I can see it not being that popular b/c of the lack of real substance behind some of the verses. To each his own, I just felt like you are underselling this cd way too much.
