What's your all's take on this one? In my opinion, it's one of Eminem's more boring songs. The intensity is in there, I just can't get into it.

it's actually dope, but yeah, boring as fuck. I don't feel like it fits the album either but maybe that's just me

It was always the song I just didn't remember too much from TES, I think probably due to Dre's bland production. Dunno how people can say he's such a better producer than Em when IMO it's easily the worst beat on the album.

But Em's verses are fantastic on it. As well as the chorus.

I think it's alright, yeah it's pretty boring at times, but I really like the chorus.

It's Dre's shitty beat that is boring though.

Great stuff. But then Dre's beat is pure sleep. DUNNNNNNNG chum DUUUUUUUUUUUUUNG dang chum dang DUMMMMMMMMMM chang DUNNNNNNNNNG. Yawn. Worst beat on the album.

Song itself I think contains some of Em's strongest lyricism in terms of raw honesty and punch period though.

Such as:

"I joke when I say I'm the best in the booth but a lot of truth is said in jest"

and

"I'll suffocate for the respect before I breath to collect the fucking check"

def not boring one of better tracks in TES, I love this line especially, "sometimes what you mean its two different things depend on your mood and if it swings think too many things lil hit of dre's weed I can do anything"
