Spend Some Time

I posted on an Encore thread about my views on the album, and this track was one of the few that were lyrically very good.

Does anyone know if he wrote this pre-Encore? My guess is that it was from the TES era.

The multi's in here are actually quite impressive.

Almost went as far as introducing you to my daughters
Till you went as far as goin' and snoopin' through my drawers
Now I just feel stupid for the loop that you threw me for
Can't believe I almost flew the coop for some stupid whore

The first two lines have a 13 syllable rhyme there if you count it from "went as far" which is above anything on Encore.

So yeah, does anyone know for sure when he wrote this verse?

Probably wrote it in his first run with Encore. This and all of the songs from Straight From The Lab were leaked so he started over and probably the reason why there's a bunch of shitty songs. Do what I did, take the best songs from Encore, mix it with the songs from Straight From The Lab and the album is damn good.
