Why doesn't Marshall like the fame/attention?

I'd hate having fame. Not being able to go out to the shops, not being able to stroll down the streets without security. Trying to go out for a meal with people taking millions of photos. Would be fucking shit.

In addition to what everyone else said, it becomes mundane as any other life, it's just the new normal. A lot of celebs get tripped out by how unhappy they are even with having everything they've ever wanted. For the most part, whatever state of mind a person is in at this current time will most likely be there for that persons entire life, regardless how their life situation changes, unless they make inner changes, not outer changes.
