It's Ok (Infinite)

Postby MikeNUFC » Sep 3rd, '10, 13:33

I've never been a fan of the Infinite album, a lot of forced multies strung together, big words that aren't really needed (kinda reminded me of Canibus in a way - not as pretentious though) and some gibeerish (yes, you 'Tonite').

But I was listening to 'It's Ok' the other day and realized what a great track it is. Far and away the best song on the CD, his flow is nice, the multies are effortlessly linked in (not as effortlessly as on the SSEP or LP but way better than the rest of Infinite) and just overall awesome rhyming.

Not the kinda subject matter than gives a lot of replay value but still, good track, probably the only track that really really impresses from Infinite.

I agree with you on It's OK. The best track off Infinite by far, and one of my favourite Eminem songs ever. It has a strong message and the lyrics are genius.

But in the mist of this insanity, I found my Christianity
Through God and there's a wish he granted me
He showed me how to cope with the stress
And hope for the best, instead of mope and depressed
Always groping a mess, of flying over the nest
To selling dope with the rest
I quit smoking cess to open my chest - my favourite few lines out of the song :flutter:

I like everyone song on Infinte actually. Infinte (the song) is amazing. One Mic and 313 have killer punchlines. All the other songs are dope too.

I check out the song on youtube and i get greated by this comment

"infinite just may be ems best album simply because he was still underground and not a sellout"

that shit get on my nerves. anyway, i don't like Infinite either, I think it's the beats that don't do it for me.
