I really didn't like Jay-z (never did) on Syllables so as Dre and Stat Quo. Cashis and 50 were dope. Em was decent.
But Jay-z's annoying voice, lyrics flow ruined the song for me.

I prefer Topless over Syllables even if Em rapped Dre's verse for him, it sounded badass lol!

any thoughts?

Em's voice is more annoying in Syllables than Jay-Z's..
at least imo.

Syllables shits all over Topless, IMO

The beat is awesome and Em on Syllables > Em on Topless

cashis blows on that song imo lol il take stat quo over him any day and i dont particularly care for stat quo... i like jay-zs verse... and i cant get into topless simpley because its such bullshit that emnem has to not only write the lyrics but also set the flow for dre. i know he did it on CAB too but dre should learn to at least flow on his own. im losing respect for him and detox. hes not writing lyrics for it or making flows and the kush beat isnt even his

Topless by a country mile.

Nice chilled Em verse for Dre while Nas spazzes the fuck out.

None of the verses on Syllables are any good (whether they're meant to be or not, that's not an excuse) - I do love that intro and chorus though.

The only thing good in these songs is Nas' verse in Topless.

You don't think much of Em's verse for Dre on Topless?

I thought it was brilliantly written verse - typical Dre content but can't blame Em for that, it's the kinda verse the song asks for.

Nas' verse is amazing (can't wait for his next solo album) but I don't think Em's/Dre's verse is that far behind, to be honest.

Still waiting for that collab...

Was Topless recorded recently?Cause i love the voice Em has in it,pretty different from the lasts leaks.Also like Nas's verse.But i dont really like the chorus :sweating:
