So, I finally have my blog up. And, I'm kicking it off with a series of posts on the evolution of Eminem; as an artist, rapper, and public figure.
So, sticking to official studio output and defining each 'era' by ablums, I've started with Infinite. Here's an extract of the post...
So, by its very definition this year and album are significant purely due to the fact they’re the 1st official studio footprint in the world of music, from Eminem. Yes, he had been recording at a studio level prior to this and there’s even output to that effect, but if we’re talking ‘official’ output, things with his name and stamp on, this is the first noteworthy mark.

I was originally going to analyze each period / album in one giant post, but... given I wrote like 900 words + on Infinite alone, can you imagine the total size if I included all of them in one post lmao.
So I've decided to make a post per era and post them periodically, with other posts in-between. So that it adds up to a hefty series of analysis rather than a single outing.
These posts are really more just to explore and analyze the sounds and styles of each era, his aims and artistry rather than give a complete opinion on the material itself. So, although there may be some of that, these aren't reviews. They're attempts at complete explorations into the period.
Next up, will be The Slim Shady EP.
I'm partially posting this to explain my lapse in getting around to the weekly round-up in the main Eminem section also. As, I've been busy trying to get my blog sorted and ready to go. But, now that I have the first post up, I'll get the weekly round-up done tonight.
