Oh so that is the reason? Not that I understand why it would matter legally since it is totally obvious who he's talking about. I know he was always saying Reeves, I actually thought that Em thought it was his name.

Well that makes no sense because...
the implication is still the same, it's not like 'the' Christopher Reeve owns / owned that name, like he's the only human being in the world with that name...
So the fact Em is saying that name, in legal terms, is trivial. What's not trivial is the fact he's referring to him, and... adding an S doesn't change the fact he's obviously referring to him, so if that is the law, that's ridiculous and illogical.
Because what gives 'that' Christopher Reeve the right to that name. There could equally be 1,000 others that don't mind Eminem using that name, and regardless of what they all think, nobody owns the right to fucking words or thoughts. But, you know, you can trademark a brand-name against slander etc. but not a normal name against free speech lmao.
Didnt court decided that he cant mention Kim anymore? So you could say the same about that. like ofcourse he can mention Kim she doesnt own that name.
