Nicki Minaj said that she specifically asked him to do a Slim Shady verse for Romans Revenge. This would have been the perfect opportunity to use that high pitched/nasally voice that he used on the Slim Shady LP. However, he still went with the 'shouty' delivery. Is this evidence that he can't go back to his old delivery technique/voice?

SSLP was years ago, his voice has changed, he cant go back to how his voice was back then, and he probably likes the 'shouty' voice. It dont bother me Fit quite well with the beat.

So the recordings are probably from 1998.

12 years is a long time. Voices change. Eminem doesn't have a remote control where he can tune in whatever voice he wants for that day. It's practically impossible to go back to his 1998 voice RIGHT NOW.
