I loved the album when it first came out, and I still love it today. The only song I really don't like is WTP, but other than that I love all of the other songs. I usually skip over Not Afraid and LTWYL just because I've heard those songs so much, but sometimes I won't. Depends on my mood. 25 To Life is probably my favorite song. I've actually been listening to the album alot with summer starting soon, I don't know why but certain songs on the album remind me of last summer so much.

The irony being that Eminem's angry voice which was meant to on emotional songs didn't let him convey any emotion whatsoever, because of how hoarse/monotonous it was.

It's not like the beats kept me interested, either.

The only songs I still play: LTWYL, On Fire, GTC, YNO

You like LTWYL? :o :o :o

Whether you like it or not it is a good song.

Not gonna get into whether it's a good song or not, i'm just surprised Amadeo likes it.

My opinion of the album has not really changed over the year.
- Not Afraid,I liked from the start, and it is probably my favorite song of the album, and the more you hate it the more i like it :shifty:
-talking 2 myself, going through changes , cold wind blows ,25 to life and spacebound are Some of the songs I listen more.
-wont back down.Contrary to the majority here i love it.

I have to say that my least favorite songs are WTP,you are never over (although i know this one has a meaning and that makes me appreciate it) and almost famous.

so the only changes:
-I hate no love the first time I heard it due to the Haddaway sample, now I really like it. :y:
-LTWYL ,I think is a great song, but is overprayed,I often hear it everywhere I go,so i often skip it,but I still love it.
In the land of the killers, a sinner's mind is a sanctum.

I didn`t like the beats first time I heard it, and I don`t like them now. I think Recovery is a good album, not as godd as TES/MMLP. It showed the new side of Eminem. Almost Famous/GTC/Space Bound are my favourite songs. I hope that Em`s new album want have many resemblences with Recovery.

At first, I was amazed. I thought Em's back....as months went by, I went through a love/hate relationship with EVERY song on the album, except 'Talkin' 2 Myself," which I always hated. Not once did I like this song. NOW, I can say my favorite songs are (in this order) On Fire, Cold Wind Blows, Almost Famous, Going Through Changes, Seduction, No Love, Cinderella Man, Untitled, 25 to Life, You're Never Over (which I always hated..now I fucking LOVE it)...and W.T.P....I think Talkin' 2 Myself and Not Afraid SUCK DICK. Space Bound was alright, now it's whatever. Don't really like it. Won't Back Down has it's moments...annoying song overall, though...Love The Way You Lie is well written, I guess...it's whatever...I used to hate So Bad, it's dope now....Overall, I think it's an album that has a vast amount of good songs, but even the good songs have a couple cringe-worthy lines in them..but they are still good songs...and the bad songs have a shit load of bad lines, AND a couple good ones, too..so the bad songs aren't Encore bad....He could've executed it a bit better, but a pretty good album, overall.
"This dude doing this interview wants me to spin a few,
Lyrics while I tie my tennis shoes in the nude
A romantic interlude in a livin’ room,
In an inner tube with a dude with a bit of lube
Fuck that I’m sniffin’ glue, sippin' gin & juice,
And a little bit of paint thinner with my dinner too,
You better pay me for my bars like your rent is due,
Now hurry up and finish dude before I finish you."

Cold Wind Blows:
Was a favourite from the start and it still is.

Talkin 2 Myself:
Was good for a listen or two but I never went back to it really.

On Fire:
I didn't actually listen to it so much at first but it grew on me. Always thought it was a good track though.

Won't Back Down:
Always hated it. Still do.

W.T.P:
Never really liked it.

Going Through Changes:
Listened to this more when it first came out, now I barely give it a spin.

Not Afraid:
Was never really a fan of this either.

Seduction:
At first I neglected this track but it's grown on me greatly.

No Love:
Always liked this, and I still listen to it often.

Space Bound:
Always thought it was too mushy.

Cinderella Man:
Listened to it a bit more when it first came out but i've never been crazy about it. Now it irritates me.

25 To Life:
Always liked it, still do.

So Bad:
Listened to this more in the beginning, now barely ever.

Almost Famous:
Same as above really.

Love The Way You Lie & You're Never Over:
Listened once when it came out and never again.

Untitled:
Used to like this a lot more back then, now it's just an average track to me.

At first i hated WBD and thought Cinderella man was okay and over rated as fuck. Now, i actually like WBD and Cinderella man has definitely grown on me.
There's people that love me and people that hate me. But it's the evil that made me this backstabbing, deceitful, and shady.
