Spend Some Time Question

It's clear that Em's verse on Spend Some Time wasn't wrote in 2004. I mean if it was, then Encore would have been a different album. It would have been ridiculously better based on this verse. He did write some decent verses in 2004, but none had the amount of multi's and internals that Spend Some Time had.

Does anyone know when it was written? My guess is 02-03. Does anyone know for sure?

Not as good as TES stuff. Better than most of Encore.

Written in 2003 sometime, is my guess. Recorded late 2003/early 2004 (his voice sounds BAD - although it adds something to the verse, oddly)

Yeah I thought he had wrote it in 2003. I wish he'd wrote the majority on Encore during 2003, at least he was focused then and created some awesome material. Plus his rhyming was still very good. I'm sure parts of the album was written then, though. As you said, probably late 2003.

I would guess late 03, because it certainly doesn't sound like 02, and I guess it's not 04...so I'd say late 03. Purely a guess.
