Eminem agreed that it was a good idea and that it would sell to the mainstream fan. Therefore they both decided to make the song and release it as a single.

Dumping all the blame on Royce is a bitch move.

You lose.

He just stopped putting out funny celeb bashing songs, his new formula to promote shit is putting a famous pop artist on the hook. This will go on the next years for sure, it's his way to show he's more mature. Don't tell me you prefer We Made You to Lighters, just the lines where Royce talks about Em are worth it. And yes, there are some people thinking Lighters is out of place on the EP, but it's not my case, I don't give a fuck. I just judge the single song.

I can honestly say I didnt hate We Made You as much as Lighters.

It seriously doesnt make you think anything less of the EP which, apart from Lighters, has a pretty steady, decent theme throughout? How do you judge an album or EP as a whole? Surely the transitions from song to song and the progression of certain themes or narratives have at least a little influence on how highly you regard a piece of work?

Those are probably the same people thinking Not Afraid is corny. Good sounding music often seems to be a bit corny.

I didn't particularly think Not Afraid was too corny. A little yes, but I still liked it. To me, the content of it was a lot less cringeworthy and the hook is a lot more inspiring.

Listen to how they talk about the song, they don't sound like they even fuckin like it. It was made JUST so Royce could get his chance on the radio.

That's the only reason.

You lose, again. :o

A, trolling I see.

You had me there for a minute. :y:

How could you even compare INAD to Lighters? :facepalm :shakehead:

And LTWYL actually had a good subject matter, whereas lighters is corny garbage all the way through.
There's people that love me and people that hate me. But it's the evil that made me this backstabbing, deceitful, and shady.

The first time radio 1 played it a few weeks back the dj followed up with "why does Eminem always shout, chill man." The pop world will continue to think this after Love The Way You Lie & I Need A Doctor. Most people are only gunna be interested in it because of the chorus as usual.

The beat is the only thing i like about it. It's inevitably gunna be massive in the next few weeks.

True. Was speaking to a mate a few months back when INAD came out, and I gave him the link for the video. He said "all Eminem does it shout".... I couldn't tell him he was wrong lol.
