The song would be, like...more epic than epic itself. Of course putting Tech on there wouldn't make too much sense and I doubt he would have fit the song. But he would have given us a kick ass verse. :y:

Em and Jay owned the world at that time, their lyrics are both equally flawless and the content is on another level. So much so that you feel every word each of them say.

Not saying Tech would have put a bad verse on it, but his integration on the track would have ruined it.

I disagree. Em was great, of course. But Jay's verses are awkward, and they have little to no flow at all. Tech would've at the very least done something much more interesting. And if you'd like I can show you Tech verses from that exact same year, that are easily up Renegade's standards.

however i feel as though i'm wasting my time, since apparently nobody hears lyrics like i do.

yeah I get what you're saying. Tech definitely wasn't presentable at that large of a scale. People wouldn't have known how to react to it. Jay was a much better partner on the track in regards to getting people to just listen i suppose

But Tech also had stuff to be "renegaded" about... wasnt that the "devil worshiper" days and stuff? It would perfectly match the Eminem lyrics, albeit metaphorically, of Catholics in arms against him. He seems reasonably disturbed by such portrayals to make a significant impact. And remember, back then, Illuminati, conspiracy theories weren't mainstream so it would have been perfectly original and captivating.

Tech and Royce were probably on the same skill level anyway so i dont know why people would say the Bad Meets Evil verses woulda been better than tech ...?

-Tech wouldn't have really fit that song
-I doubt he would've brought a verse to match the four already on it

and if he was on it you'd assume it would have to be one verse each.
Em-Jay-Tech renegade whilst being an exciting thought, would not be the level in which Renegade was.

and Jay-Z-Em renegade >>> BME renegade

The point was...imagine Em's Renegade verses, and Jay's verses, with some Tech verses. Not exactly saying take off verses to make room for him, I'm just imagining some of Em's best material with Tech and Jay on the same track. That's legendary.

I'd be all for an prime Em-Tech-Jay song

I just wouldn't wanna give up renegade the way it is.

The same reason I wouldn't want lets say....Hopsin on certain prime Em songs, as it would've brought the quality of certain (virtually perfect) tracks down. Even though a Hopsin / Prime Em track would be dope as fuck

Tech doesn't have the subject matter or general persona to really fit on Renegade. At all.

Tech couldn't write and rap a verse as good as the 4 on Renegade. Not even close, he's nowhere near the lyricists Jay and Em were at that stage.

Yeah, I feel the same. He is obviously a great technician but he is incredibly boring as a songwriter.

For real dawg?! When he goes in that zone he is extremely engaging. How can this be "increibly boring" and its only a week old too.
