Next concept

I think it's safe to say Eminem's next album concept will be something completely new/different. People have mentioned it here before, but notice how the previous six have come in pairs.

And if you really examine it, it's the perfect storm

He introduced/reintroduced himself to rap with unique and horrific lyrics (SSLP/Relapse), then afterwards he got personal and addressed the criticism of his last album (MMLP/Recovery). This gives him the next two albums to do whatever he wants with a completely open mind.

It kind of shows where his mind is set. If he wanted a serious "Richard" verse, he could of done it. Same with "Throw it Up". Same with the "Despicable" verse, it was much more serious, hard-hitting verse, which was somewhat how Recovery turned out. I don't know, I may be wrong, only time will tell.

This is actually a good way to look at it.

He couldn't have done a serious Richard verse because it WASN'T HIS CONCEPT! Obie himself said he laid his verses. You can't think of a serious verse for it.

Did you hear Obie's verses? Pretty serious to me.
