Stan Closet? Does that mean you've got a closet devoted to Eminem? That's awesome :o

Yup. It's huge one.

first time i ever heard eminem was back in 2006, the time when im gone released. was amazed to know that this kinda music even exists. i downloaded few well known songs of him to listen to. back then wasnt really a music freak tho. up until when eminem returned. skimmed through relapse on youtube and started digging into his older songs. with every song i listened for the first time-white america, sing for the moment, hailies song, square dance, stan etc i was like wow this is something else. it was an amazing feeling getting the first taste of hip hop. thought Em cant top these songs. then i listened to mmlp start to finish. was blown away right there. became a huge fan that night. downloaded the whole discography, listened to all songs and in no time ordered physical copies of all the 6 cds.

I remember the first song I heard from Em. I was browsing youtube on my itouch while chucking a humongoid shit (seriously, that was one of the greatest shits ever) then I saw a thumbnail for a video titled Fack.

Watched it, laughed, then went back to my shit.

I do, I was in grade 7 at the time. I remember seeing it twice in theatres when it first came out. Both times it was packed, I remember sitting on the steps in the theatre both times. I went to see it again just before it left theatres and was able to actually get a seat.

I brought a VHS tape of 8 Mile to my school. It was the end of a school year, so we spend 2 last English classes watching it. Lots of people from my class, even the teacher were "I didn`t know Eminem is that talented". And the teacher, after she heard Lose Yourself at the end of the movie, told me that she sees why I am so into his music. She thought Eminem was just a dude saying a lot of "fuck you" on TV.

You're obviously not the only one

Actually, obviously you are both wrong since Eminem's first official solo release, Infinite, came out in 1996 and sold around 1000 copies. This was after even earlier projects. So no, you haven't listened to Emjnem from the start, with the odds also favoring that no one on this forum has. :smoking:
