He's not "blond again", first and foremost. Secondly, when did he ever say he was done with dissing people? Did he say he was done with all the media covered drama? Yes but that's pretty much different.

Em doesn't ever really have to 'try' and recapture his 'old self'. Why? Because he's the same person then and now. Sure his mindstate has shifted naturally with age but his sense of humour and off the wall ideas are still there. It'll always be a part of his music, as he said during the whole Recovery phase - it's always been in his music's formula and is a part of him as an artist.

Mannn I was drunk when I wrote that so perhaps I didn't explain myself well lol. I think in my head I meant more the music side then anything else cos he's said before going from my memory during both the relapse and recovery days he was trying to recapture his old sound. I'm paraphrasing obviously but he has said these things, fuck he said "the new mes back to the old me" on recovery which he probably meant soundwise. I must of interpreted his lyrics on Not Afraid differently since I thought dissing people caused drama... must be just me lol I do feel I need to explain I didn't make this thread to bash em like others have and I enjoy post hiatus em alot. It's just since the mmlp2 announcement and him going blonde again (he has, even if it's just for the berzerk video he...he well he has!! lol) it's just been on the back of my mind that maybe he is just trying to get back to what he was in other people's eyes. Just something to think about, that's all...
