Linkin Park had the Scavanger hunt for album promotion. They were basically putting stuff all around the world for fans to find, and the final reward was a new song, plus the fans got to go to BBC Radio One and talk with Mike over the phone. I'm thinking this is something similar. He may leave clues that lead to each other for album promotion and then reward us with something. Like tracklist (Jay Z style) or new track (LP style).

That info really isn't that new. It's been on the site a few days, and was posted by Eminem on Facebook in August (albeit not in that depth)

I'm thinking they're trying to promote it more as the concept really filtered out.

Waze is GPS navigator. I assume the pins are similar to those on Google Maps. You'll probably have to download the Waze app and search for (gold I think) pins.
