Maybe it's better than Em keeps reinventing himself

I was reading a thread on here the other day about this. Of course we would all complain if Em made direct replicas of his old albums. He keeps on reinventing himself exponentially and is doing things he's never done before. He sounded super human in Rap God. It was godly, like he was a super alien or on rap steroids. We would never get this kind of new flow if he didn't keep reinventing himself.

Make no mistake. He has to keep innovating and it has to be met to standards. Quality is still key. But the more he's able to reinvent himself, the more new stuff we'll get. The key is getting bits and pieces of his old stuff and bringing in the new stuff to meet it.

Yes, that is true. If it's wack, it doesn't matter if it's a reinvention. It has to meet quality standards.

I love how he almost completely changes his style for every single album he has put out and still maintains his level of greatness. If you listen to Reasonable Doubt and than go listen to Magna Carta Holy Grail Jay -Z sounds pretty much the same. Sure the production evolved and his use of different flows but no one compares to Em when it comes to reinventing themselves.

Yeah he consciously reinvent himself, he said something about it in 2002, that he's not gonna do the same thing, people will get bored, and talked about the artists who do that.
